Hosting + Maintenance

Movement Maker hosts client sites on a custom cloud SiteGround hosting environment, a premium managed hosting platform built for performance, security, and reliability. We chose SiteGround because it handles WordPress sites at scale, includes strong security infrastructure, and gives us the technical control we need to maintain client sites without surprises. All sites we build on WordPress are hosted on our Movementmaker SiteGround as part of our managed hosting service.

Uptime monitoring runs continuously across every site we host. If your site goes down, our team is alerted automatically and begins working on the issue, typically within minutes. Most outages are resolved before they affect more than a small percentage of visitors. We send a notification after the issue is resolved with what happened and what was done to fix it. Standard uptime target is 99.9%, which works out to less than 9 hours of downtime per year.

Yes. Site migrations are included as part of onboarding. We handle the migration end to end: backup of your existing site, transfer to SiteGround's managed environment, SSL certificate setup, DNS configuration, and a final QA pass to confirm everything works before going live. Most migrations are completed within one business week. If your site has unusual configurations or custom integrations, we scope the migration during the discovery call.

Movement Maker builds and hosts WordPress sites. We chose WordPress because it gives clients full content management control, supports the structured content patterns AI tools extract from, and integrates with the tools most professional service firms already use. We do not currently host or maintain Webflow, Squarespace, or other platforms. If you need a non-WordPress site, we tell you on the discovery call.

Standalone hosting includes managed hosting, security, daily backups, software updates, and direct support from our team. Visibility Intelligence includes all of that plus AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, and Perplexity, ongoing topical authority strategy, and quarterly strategy reviews. If you only need the infrastructure layer, standalone hosting fits. If you want the infrastructure plus the intelligence layer that keeps your AI visibility working over time, Visibility Intelligence is the right fit.

Yes. Your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, or any other provider) does not need to change. We only manage hosting, not domain registration. During onboarding, we provide the DNS settings your registrar needs to point your domain at our hosting environment. If you would rather have us manage the domain alongside hosting, we can take that over too, but most firms keep their registrar separate.
