Movement Maker (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides consulting, web design, hosting, marketing automation, visibility intelligence, and related digital and marketing services. What personal data we collect and why
Contact and scheduling forms
If you fill out a contact form or schedule a meeting with us, we collect the information you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and other information you choose to provide) in order to respond to your inquiry, schedule the meeting, communicate with you, and provide our services.
We use Calendly to manage meeting scheduling. When you book a meeting through Calendly, the information you provide is also subject to Calendly’s own privacy policy, available at https://calendly.com/privacy.
Marketing and customer relationship management
We use HubSpot as our customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing platform. Information you submit through our website forms, or that we collect in the course of our business relationship with you, may be stored and processed in HubSpot to manage communications, customer relationships, follow-ups, and marketing activities. We may also use HubSpot’s tracking tools, such as cookies and analytics scripts, to understand how visitors use our site and to improve our website, communications, and marketing.
We use Flodesk as an email marketing platform to design and deliver marketing emails, manage subscriber lists, and automate email campaigns. Payments and payment information
We use Stripe and QuickBooks Payments, provided by Intuit, to securely process payments for our services. Depending on the transaction and payment option offered, customers may pay by credit card, debit card, ACH bank payment, or other supported payment methods.
When you make a payment, Stripe, Intuit/QuickBooks Payments, and their respective financial institutions, payment networks, and service providers may collect and process information necessary to verify your payment method, authorize and complete the transaction, prevent fraud, process refunds, handle disputes, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Payment information is processed through these third-party payment providers. We do not intentionally collect or store full credit or debit card numbers or online banking usernames and passwords on our website.

ACH payments and linked bank accounts
When you choose to pay by ACH through Stripe, you may be given the option to securely connect your bank account through Stripe Financial Connections. Stripe will request your consent before accessing or sharing financial account information in connection with the payment.
For ACH payments, we may request access to:
- Tokenized bank account and routing information needed to initiate and process an authorized ACH payment
- Account ownership information, such as the name and mailing address associated with the bank account, to help verify account ownership and reduce fraud
We do not currently request access through Stripe Financial Connections to your bank account balances or transaction history.
We use linked bank account information only as reasonably necessary to:
- Process payments you authorize
- Verify that a bank account is associated with the customer making the payment
- Help prevent fraud, failed payments, and unauthorized transactions
- Maintain records related to payments, refunds, disputes, accounting, and legal obligations
Stripe handles the secure bank connection and payment infrastructure. We do not receive or store your online banking username or password. Financial account information made available to us through Stripe Financial Connections is limited to the information you consent to share.
When you authorize an ACH payment, you also authorize the applicable debit from your selected bank account according to the payment authorization presented during checkout or the payment process.
We do not use financial account information for lending, underwriting, credit decisions, investment management, or other financial management services. We do not sell financial account information.
Online purchases and Buy Now services
We may offer services, digital products, programs, or other offerings for purchase directly through our website, landing pages, webinars, checkout pages, payment links, or other online sales experiences. When you make a purchase, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, company information, billing information, the product or service purchased, and information necessary to fulfill your order or begin providing the purchased service.
Payment information associated with these purchases is processed through our payment providers as described above.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from tools such as HubSpot, Flodesk, and other service providers to recognize returning visitors, understand site usage, support website functionality, measure marketing performance, and improve our services. Payment providers may also use cookies or similar technologies as necessary to securely process payments and prevent fraud.

Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data or financial account information.
We may share personal data with trusted service providers that help us operate our website, communicate with customers, process payments, manage customer relationships, deliver marketing communications, and provide our services. These providers currently include Calendly, HubSpot, Flodesk, Stripe, and Intuit/QuickBooks Payments, as well as other service providers we may use to operate our business.
When you make a payment, Stripe, Intuit/QuickBooks Payments, and their respective financial partners and service providers may receive and process information necessary to verify your payment method, process and settle the transaction, prevent fraud, handle refunds or disputes, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
We share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf, when you authorize us to do so, or as otherwise required by law.
How long we retain your data
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain our business relationship with you, provide our services, fulfill purchases, respond to inquiries, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Payment-related records may be retained for longer periods when necessary to satisfy accounting, tax, contractual, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements. You may request deletion of eligible personal data as described below.
